Magnets, bases and heads, weapons

A couple of pictures on how I do my Khymaera heavies and their magnets.

1. The problem :

The magnet holes are deeper than the magnet size, and for the best contact, it should be flush with the surface.

2. The solution : a metal rod that can place the magnet in place, and then shift a bit until the glue sets. I use my scraping tool for this, as it has an aprox. 3mm diameter handle which holds the magnet.

3. Very important about magnet polarity is that you always need to have a stack of magnets attached to the parts, so that the polarities don't get reversed in the body or the heads / arms.

4. Put glue on the magnet edges, and insert the magnet at the end of the rod into the hole, and then slightly shift the rod, so that the glue sets while the magnet is flush with the hole edge.

5. Wait a minute until the glue sets, then take / break the rod away if the glue caught it.
